Ruhi Electronics offers a qualitative range of PSS (Package Substation) or USS (Unitized Substation) Transformer from 200 KVA to 2000 KVA in 11 KV Class. These Package Substations are largely required for fire hazardous and compact places. A unitized substation is a compact arrangement, which simplifies conventional substation design. Substation housing is divided into three compartments i.e. the HV Compartment, the Transformer Compartment and the LV Compartment.

TRANSFORMER

  • CORE

The core is built from low-loss cold rolled-grain oriented (CRGO) annealed steel sheet. The cores are assembled with the help of special jigs and fixtures to maintain minimum air gaps, a compact assembly and minimum noise level on energization. The core is finally clamped with the help of a specially designed frame to maintain specific pressure as per design. The grade of the core materials is selected to meet the guaranteed performance parameters no-load and to avail maximum flux density as per relevant standards (IS/IEC). Cores are assembled with maximum numbers of steps so as to utilize the maximum area in the winding.

Tanks are fabricated out of good quality steel sheets and special attention is paid to avoid unnecessary welds to reduce chances of leakages The quality of steel workmanship and pressure testing of welding joints ensure top quality leak-proof container for the efficiently designed transformer core- coil assembly Tanks are provided with pressed sheet radiators, fabricated out of good quality steel sheet All metallic surfaces of tanks, radiators, and conservators are thoroughly cleaned All the external and internal surfaces are given a primary coal of ZINC CHROMATE PRIMER respectively (TRANSFORMER OIL RESISTANT) and two final coat of paint for belter life

RuhiElectronics rectifier equipment’s are wound with electrolytic Prime grade italics to minimise power losses, in comparison to Aluminium italic conductor used by many other manufactures. Our equipment’s are designed liberally as per capacity and are ideally suitable for considerable overloading conductions.

We use vertical Rolling contact type voltage regulator wound with heavy section of copper strips suitable for 100% continuous duty cycle for industrial applications. This gives much much more quality performance over wire wound system because the carbon rollers more both sides of the winding smoothly. Steplessly and without any spark whereas the rectangular carbon brushes have every chances of sparking during moving over the turns of the windings.

  • DIODE

Silicon diodes are tested in house, similar PIV batch and same forward drop diodes are used in the equipment for equal load sharing and reducing the power losses of diodes.

  • LAMINATION CORE

We use imported CRGO Lamination core which have minimum power losses and results in better efficiency of equipment and saving in energy bill.

  • PAINTS

Epoxy paint is used which is resistant to acidic environment of plating process and enhance the life of the equipment by preventing it from corrosion.

  • METER

We use only reputed make AE/RISHAB make DC meters which are very accurate and durable.

Even after the installation of standard off circuit distribution transformer, the voltage fluctuation on the LT side persists due to limited range of voltage correction of the transformer to control the voltage fluctuations, it is ideal to install Servo Controlled Automatic Voltage Controller either on LT side or HT side.

Ruhi make transformers with built in rolling contact type AVR suitable for indoor/outdoor installation, copper wound HT two in one system is a revolutionary landmark in the industry when it comes to voltage regulation and stabilization. Even after the installation of standard distribution transformer the problem of low/high voltage on the LT side persists, resulting in improper operation of the electrical equipment’s, premature failure & production loss of a plant. The standard off-circuit tapping of transformers can correct limited voltage variation and cannot regulate the voltage while in Load’ conditions. We have developed state-of-the-art technology two in-one system with Transformers having built in HT Automatic voltage regulator that operates on load, sleeplesslygives stabilized voltage on the LT side. The equipment is basically a combination of HT AVR with a standard distribution transformer.

The fluctuating voltage from grid is initially controlled by the HT AVR and then fed to the transformer resulting in the constant LT. Output within +/- 1% accuracy and the biggest advantage being its robust design: lesser losses more efficiency make the distribution transformer to utilize up to 100% capacity

Servo Voltage Control Stabilizer

Voltage fluctuation is a common phenomenon in the country. The industrial units which are running 24 hours, face the high and low voltage problem. 85% of the industrial load is of motors. Electric motors draw considerably high current at abnormal voltage. This higher current affects electrical motors in different ways.
Higher current produces higher losses in electrical motors, which causes premature failure of winding insulation. It increases the losses of electric motors and other associated equipment’s.
This higher current of electric motor requires higher setting ofoverload relay to avoid frequent tripping of motors. Higher setting of overload relay have very little safety margin against single phasing &mechanical faults.

  • WINDING

Coils are wound with paper covered (MAKE JAPANESE) electrolytic grade copper strip or synthetic enameled copper conductors, proper& sufficient Cooling ducts to keep the hot spot temperature as low as possible Coils are dried in electric ovens. Rigid connection, proper support and coil clamping is provided to ensure high short circuit strength

  • TANK & PAINT

The tanks are fabricated from of M.S. Sheets with adequate thickness, Bracing and stiffeners are provided to reduce internal radial pressure. All the external and internal surfaces are given a primary coat of primer (ZINC CHROMATE PRIMER YELLOW TRANSFORMER OIL RESISTANT) and finishing coat of paint for better life.
OIL
Oil duly tested for resistivity, dielectric and acidic characteristic conforming to IS: 335:1993 are used.

  • GUARANTEE

Stabilizers are guaranteed for a period of 5 [FIVE] years from the date of sale, against any manufacturing defect or bad workmanship. Any component going defective during the above period shall be made good / replaced free of cost.
